Misters of Filipinas Releases Official Statement on the Appointment of Marck Marasigan

 

Official Statement on the Appointment of Marck Marasigan as Philippine Representative in Mister Celebrity International 2025 Edition.

The Official Statement reads:

The organization would like to clarify the process that led to the appointment of Marck Marasigan as Mister Celebrity International.

First, Ghion Layug is not eligible to compete as there are no Batch 2025 titleholders who have resigned.  His position remains reserved should any official resignation occur.

For Batch 2024, Alei Del Rosario was originally the designated representative.  However, due to an ACL injury requiring immediate surgery, Alei is unable to participate in the competition.  As advised by the Board Members, we were required to coordinate with the Mister Celebrity International Organization once more (and they) preferred not to search within the 2024 batch.  The Mister Celebrity International organization expressed a stronger preference to appoint a candidate from Batch 2025, provided that representative would not come from the winners, following the declines of Jaycee and John.

The initial choices of Mister Celebrity International Organization were Jaycee Lopez, followed by John Hipolito.  After both became unavailable, the organization instructed us to search among the non-winners of Batch 2025.

At this point, Marck Marasigan, who is also an official Misters of Filipinas Ambassador, was presented for review.  After evaluating Marck's profile, including his strong online engagement on Instagram and Facebook, the organization saw his potential and suitability for the role.  They immediately advised us to reach out and confirm his availability for Mister Celebrity International.

Within one hour, after consulting with his team, Marck confirmed his acceptance.

Thus, we officially affirm that Marck Marasigan, MOF Ambassador, has been duly appointed as Mister Celebrity International (representative), following the proper selection and approval process implemented by the organization.
